The Ankrum family lives and has its business in the Lockwood community. It is only natural for us to support our community youth, and what better way than with the great game of baseball. We have sponsored a major boys team (10-12 year olds) yearly since 1972. It is fun to watch a man come thru the door and say, 'I played for Ankrum" and watch him find himself on the wall of pictures dating back to 1972.

Our community outreach has led to over 10 years of participation in the World's Largest Truck Convoy and support of the Montana Special Olympics branch. This event takes place in multiple states on the same day in September. It is a fundraiser between local trucking companies and law enforcement agencies. Law enforcement escorts the participating trucks along a route where a celebration and recognition ceremony takes place. Special Olympians of all ages come out to support the drivers and get a chance to see the big rigs, crawling in and around them. They all leave with the biggest smile ever.
